Frontend Lead Engineer

You will

Lead frontend development across web and mobile-adjacent projects
Design and evolve frontend architecture with scalability and maintainability in mind
Make and communicate technical decisions within the team
Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers
Review code, mentor engineers, and promote best practices
Participate in client and stakeholder discussions from a technical perspective
Contribute to production readiness, performance, and long-term sustainability
Collaborate with backend and infrastructure teams on cloud-based systems

You should have

8+ years of professional engineering experience with a strong frontend development background
Proven ability to guide and deliver a product throughout the entire mobile lifecycle
Strong frontend engineering background, such as: Modern JavaScript / TypeScript frameworks (React or similar)
Familiarity with Python
Experience with Azure, AWS, or similar
Solid understanding of frontend architecture and state management
General awareness of mobile development (React Native, Flutter, or native mobile experience is a plus)
Strong software engineering fundamentals and system-level thinking
Experience with or strong interest in healthcare / medical domain projects
Excellent communication skills-able to explain and defend technical decisions
Ability to work independently in a remote, international team
Professional working proficiency in English

Nice to have

Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., medical, healthcare) and familiarity with compliance frameworks
Background in scalable backend systems, cloud infrastructure, or distributed architectures
Ruby experience or openness to working with Ruby
Flutter experience
.NET experience
Backend or full-stack experience
CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release processes
